About Us

I believe in the power of small local organisations that bring an energy, passion and understanding of their community to the market place. Understanding the dynamics of customer relationships and utilising the emotional intelligence that gives you to create intelligent marketing, income and product solutions continues to be my passion in a constantly evolving marketplace.
A love of the South Downs, cycling, family, local village life and a new challenge led me to move from international charity to set up my own consultancy business - Scott Business Solutions - to work with local businesses and small charities providing affordable expertise and create personal and creative solutions to the challenges and opportunities they face.
For the past ten years I have put this passion into action in the third sector working as a Director of Fundraising, leading the strategic development of new programmes, growing and diversifying sustainable income generation and ensuring strong impact measurement to maintain stakeholder relationships. To do this I have developed and honed my leadership, project management, marketing, events coordination and relationship building skills. I maintained a track record at increasing income by over 20% year on year with a return on investment of over £3 to every pound ensuring value for money.
